Margie Hartnett

I entered Delaware Beauty College in 1980 after graduating, I began my career as a stylist for Glemby International, where I worked from 1981 to 1983. For two years, I worked at Designs studio and while there became a Paul Mitchell Associate and perm educator for them. In 1987, I opened Visions Hair Design and soon after became part of the Aveda Family and eventually an Aveda concept Salon.

I have attended the Aveda Institutes in Washington D.C, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, New York and King of Prussia where I have experienced some of the best educators in the industry from all areas of hair, to skin and nails. I have had the privilege to have hands on training with David Adams who is a world renowned Aveda professional colorist and educator, Antoinette Beender & Oscar Bond who are global educators. I have been trained to be an Aveda customized solutions color educator.

I traveled to California to the board of certified hair colorist seminar and had the privilege of learning from Martin Parsons at IBS in New York who is famous for his formal hairstyling and updos.

I stay current on all of the latest color and style trends by attending training and courses whether in the salon or at an institute.

I am so lucky to have a job that I adore and enjoy but to also have the ability to make people feel beautiful. It is so rewarding to me to have my clients leave smiling and feeling even better about themselves.
